Its truly a shame that you were too miserable with yourself to enjoy the handcrafted art and amazingly entertaining shows available. The marvel cave tour is well worth a visit to SDC any day. There are showcases of hand blown glass art, wood carving, candy making and more.. every nook and cranny if filled with odds and ends to see. Such as Grandfather's mansion which is a novel little house magic tricks such at water running up hill. Perhaps if you spent a little time exploring the city instead of focusing on how much you hate people, you may have enjoyed yourself. As to the Christian faith problem you had.. It was possible that is was a scheduled church bus day at SDC.. which occur yearly. If you take yourself that seriously all the time I feel sorry for you.. you must lead a miserable life.

Brooke, the trip to SDC should be worth it for the "material" factor alone, but somehow getting jammed up there is always less of a pleasant experience than, say, going to a Celine Dion concert against my will. The fact that The Heathens are in Heathen Heaven makes it bearable, but barely.....

This is great. We have season passes to this place. I have a couple of people I call my friends from L.A. now and one day they asked if I lived near the hillbilly Las Vegas! What the hell was my reply. Then thinking a little longer I busted up laughing and had to reply. Yes, yes I do. I'm so embarrassed for my own good. I grew up dancing (competition) at SDC. Now you can truly laugh at me. Man I wish I lived in CA and could laugh with them at myself.
