I was alive in the 80′s, however, I was only 5 when they ended. Lost in my childhood filled with Glo-Worm, Fraggle Rock, and stirrup pants, I missed out on big hair, Madonna-inspired lace and leather, power suits with giant shoulder pads and tennis shoes, and a healthy addiction (rather than my current loathing) of M.T.V. I got two things: “when younger, we’re dreaming of our future; when older, we’re longing for the adventures of our youth.” Very true. Second is something that is difficult to give you public credit for: “Making a good pot of coffee”
When we drove the 26 hour drive straight out, the pot of coffee you brew was literally like angels kissing me. It could have been the hours of pointless driving, bored, and shear insanity; but it was still the best cup of coffee EVER! And if you ever need some excitement, come hang out with me for a couple of days…
