We’re still dancing around fires at the solstices in the woods. It must be the trees and Portland would be good for you because the angry lesbians keep the Baptists out. (No contest dykes on bikes vs. Sunday school teachers). When you do find true gospel teaching it is back woods and reserved, think roots of bluegrass. Parishioners are kind but suspicious of outsiders meddling in their business. We do have the separatist “true believers” who are outer fringe but you have to respect them so long as their brand of crazy comes from their own deduction of the bible not just the party line at the local mega assembly with a parking lot full of white suburbans with blue “W” ovals on the bumpers. People as herd animals are frightening and stupid. I’m with Rojo the buck-saw beard needs to come back. Breathing apparatus be damned.
